We have completed our first week. The song, "I Have Survived" keeps going through my head. This is my fifth year of teaching and fifth classroom/school. Having taught 1st, 4th, 7th, and 8th, 6th grade is another new adventure.
I am in the process of searching out ways to implement centers in a middle school without having them be too elementary. The resources are limited and I don't have those tricks from student teaching. Any suggestions would be helpful.
This year I am having to co-teach with a resource teacher. Which is also a new experience. In addition, we are team teaching so four core teachers are able to talk about common students at any time during the day.
